Cynthia LaScelle grew up in Milwaukee, WI where her earliest memory with printers was in high school as the computer lab monitor. One of the earliest pieces of advice was given by the computer lab teacher and this advice has always stuck. Here it is: fan the reams of paper before refilling paper trays to minimize and avoid jamming; this usually, with the typical, 20 lb letter size bond sheets. She is a bit older then you might think, a Classy 34 where she too was a product of the early weird looking box PC’s and she remembers those cute little floppy disks. Thank goodness we have evolved!
She studied her BA in Design Studies at the University of WI - Milwaukee and began an early career as digital print lab monitor in the Arts Department assisting students with their digital and printed projects. “I loved to see what students in other classes, were working on” Now, with over a decade in the industry and 4 of those years in another big city, Atlanta, GA, she has developed a set of resources and professional skills that will make sure our customers are confident with the products and services we have to offer at A La Carte Print & Design.
